An unintended consequence of writing Getting Published was preparation of an extensive glossary of publishing (and publishing-related) terms. This was appended to the book as a grandly titled ‘compendium’.
When my blog entries first referred to each of these terms, my idea was to include the glossary entry on this page. I can now see, however, that – as the list of entries grow – this will become a much too unwieldy thing. Instead, I am ppublishing these entries as distinct posts in a new Glossary of Publishing Terms.
As the entries go live, I shall add their link to the index found on that site.
